Kri Foundation’s Managing Trustee has presented several papers at various seminars, based on its work and studies, including at the Conference on Research on Dance ( CORD) held in Taiwan in 2004, the National Sociology Conference held in Jammu in 2006, the National Seminar  on Ageing, held in 2007 at Jamia Millia Islamia, the seminar on Indian Diaspora at India International Centre, Delhi in 2009 and the Ambikagiri Memorial lecture in Guwahati Assam.

Work is on presently on a Book that looks at issues around National Culture in a Federal set up. The book will go in for publication by 2011.

However Kri Foundations most important publication work still waits for funding. This is “Kri-iti”- The Indian Journal of Performing Arts- an annual. The Kri Foundation recognizes that to have a presence in the World of scholarship around the disciplines of Performing Arts, it is critical to become part of the discourse on topical issues around the world.

If the performance experience is to live on, continue to command thoughts and inspire future directions, and at the same time engage with international discourse, it must be translated into a cognizable experience carried forward through the medium of the word. Equally important is the need to deconstruct it for a deeper understanding and incisive analysis. This will help find its specific place in the larger globalised scenario and in the Body artistic.

This project is awaiting funding. Those interested to support it, may please contact arshiya@krifoundation.org
