The Kri Foundation was set up in August 2003 as a proactive force in the Indian arts to facilitate the twin processes of retaining the smell of the earth in the arts, while linking them to the fabric of world arts.

The aim at Kri Foundation is to understand the creative process, celebrate the creation and see the linkages between different creative processes, each as valid, relevant and enriching as the other.

It is Kri Foundations ardent hope that, in the near future, the sector of the Arts will find positioning, value and true respect, within the domains of Corporate Governance, Civil Society and Government Visioning, and be proactive in ‘people to people’ international and diplomatic initiatives.

This it plans on achieving through a linking of the spirit of the Art, Scholarship and education around the Arts, and modern Management methods to facilitate the arts.

Kri Foundation also creates an enabling environment to push social issues through awareness lectures, workshops, outreaches, the arts and scholarship, in an attempt to give back to the world and the community. More Details on these initiatives can be got from the list of activities.
