The workshops that Kri Foundation undertakes are aimed at building audiences, promoting new art forms, creating awareness around important issues pertaining to the arts and society, and at empowering artistes. Some of the workshops include
- Interconnectivities - Interpretations:
A Workshop series, aimed at making audiences take back more from performances. This Workshop drew upon linkages between performance, lived, built and material heritage.

- Impressario Representation in the US:
This lecture cum workshop by Jody Kaplan ( of Jody Kaplan and Associates) at The Attic, New Delhi opened the way for Indian performing artistes to understand how the entire system of impresarios works and how they must package their publicity material so that they can make a breakthrough internationally on the main circuit.
- DanzLenz:
As a familiarization activity for Danzlenz, the Festival of dance films and video dance, Kri Foundation has conducted ten workshops in Film schools, colleges, Cultural Centres, Film Festivals and on public platforms around India. A two day seminar was also conducted at the AJ Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi in which Indian and international film makers making films on dance, participated.
- Pushing Frontiers:
In this series we aim at demystifying new forms and techniques in the arts, for both, the practitioners and consumers of arts. For example, as an Ancillary Activity for the Video arts event by the Netherlands Embassy late 2004, we did a series of workshops for students of Multi Media, in collaboration with the Embassy and with the help of visiting Video Artists.
- Arts Workshops around Social issues:
As Kri Foundation is working with incarcerated communities, it has conducted visual and performance arts workshops in Tihar Jail, along with An Association for the Scientific Research on the Addictions ( AASRA) an NGO that has been working in Tihar Jail since 15 years. Among its efforts in Tihar are included painting and drawing workshops around the theme of Values, life in Tihar Jail, the effects of Drug abuse and the prevention of drugs and HIV. The best of these paintings were displayed at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi. It also included the workshop of well known Theatre Director, Sarita Vohra of the Living Room Theater Company, New Delhi. Out of this workshop emerged two plays by the Tihar inmates on Drug and HIV Prevention. They addressed a variety of issues including stigma, peer pressure, lack of awareness, myths and misconceptions and drew from personal histories to create the script.
- Students workshops Using art to reinforce prevention in drug and HIV:
Kri Foundation’s focused efforts to prevent the spread of Drugs and HIV among the young has resulted in several workshops that use art to reinforce prevention messages in the field of drug use and HIV
- Arts Management Workshop: This is a forthcoming event for strengthening artistes to deal with the changes in circumstances for performance.
- Arts Appreciation module: This module has been developed specifically in an audio Visual Format to sensitize students to appreciate the chimerical art forms and their supportive philosophy.
