Presented at Kamani Auditorium, “Rangontaratma”, along with a plethora of organisations, a dance production using Bharata Natyam and Kathak, based on the shastras of Kashmir Shaivism.
“Stairways to Happiness” - a round table discussion held at the Conference Room No. 2 on Friday, 12th April, 2019. The Project aims to increase the quotient of happiness for school children through an enlarged vision of whole-child education, which includes dance, music, movements along with fun activities like kite flying and arts and crafts. This initiative used as its starting point a book entitled “Place for Dance in Whole Child Education,” a scientific perspective by Harbans Nakra, Ph.D., a founder member of the Kala Bharati Foundation, in partnership with which we conducted this discussion.
Moderated a public interaction on understanding the philosophy and creative process behind ‘Rangontartama’, a Bharatanatyam and Kathak based production inspired by Kashmir’s Shaivism, which bears close links and shared shastras with dance at India Habitat Centre.
